AK Apothakary is a Colorado‑based, small‑batch apothecary born out of a desire for my mother’s legacy to be known to the world and to create luxurious, clean, natural, organic, vegan, chemical‑free products for the body, home and animals. My mom’s greatest passion has always been her garden. AK Apothakary is my way of honoring her life’s work while sharing the healing medicine that plants and herbs provide. Using my intuition, the knowledge my mother passed down to me, my background as a Chiropractic physician, and science‑based research, I formulate and create every potion in Pine, Colorado. Every small batch is charged with love and light energy and are all hand made by my small female team and me, Dr. Akala Le’Ahi Lemus, D.C.

All essential oils I use are from doTERRA and Young Living. All of the oils and butters I use are organic, cold pressed and come from sources that pride themselves on their ethical and sustainable practices. Other ingredients are organic, ethically and locally sourced whenever possible. Preservatives are only used in recipes containing oil and water and are gentle, plant‑derived, botanical‑forward. They are selected for their skin‑friendly safety profile, effective low‑impact protection, and compatibility with naturally inspired, eco‑conscious, non‑toxic routines, keeping your products fresh without relying on parabens or formaldehyde‑releasing preservatives.

All potions come in glass bottles which make them easier to either re-fill, re-use or recycle. Sourcing from ethical and sustainable suppliers, and making my carbon footprint as small as possible while providing a high-quality product experience, are my highest priorities.
