My favorite memories growing up were of being with my mother in her garden and learning how to plant everything, what each plant was called, what the healing properties of each were.

She is 72 now and needs more help. I see her garden as her legacy. I started AK Apothakary as the first of hopefully many more who will utilize all the abundance she has cultivated on our family’s plot for the past 30+ years.

My recipes are all created intuitively first. I then do extensive research, and then put my potions through lots of testing on myself first, and then friends and family.

I am a traveling creator, and source ingredients from only local, organically grown gardens when I need more herbal or floral product. All essential oils I use are from doTERRA and Young Living. Oils and Butters I use are organic, cold pressed and come from sources that pride themselves on their ethical and sustainable practices. All products come in glass bottles which make them easier to either re-fill, re-use or recycle. Sourcing from ethical and sustainable sources, and making my carbon footprint as small as possible while providing high quality product possible are my highest priorities.

Small batches are all hand made by me, Dr. Akala Le’Ahi Lemus, and charged with love, light and energy.
